My name is Sarah Brown, and I am an Independent Educational Consultant. I help students understand the college admissions process and guide them through each step to make applying to college as stress-free as possible.
My office assistant Tank keeps me company while I catch up on the latest news in college admissions.
Why I created this blog
I am passionate about learning and sharing knowledge that can help others. I read everything I am able to about college admissions so that I can inform my students about news, events, and issues that affect them. While I love to provide personalized college counseling to my students, I also want to help those who cannot work with me. I have been sharing some of my knowledge through my Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages and am now branching out to a platform that allows me to provide more detailed information.
What kinds of topics will I be covering?
Though I work with all kinds of students, I specialize in guiding those who are #homeschooled, #militarydependents, #firstgeneration, and/or #twiceexceptional. My blog will be focusing on covering information that will be most relevant to this population. If you have a suggestion for a topic you want me to write about, post it in the comments.
